About Illumina
Illumina is the world's leading maker of DNA sequencing instruments and the consumable reagents and flow cells that run on them, including the NovaSeq X and NextSeq platforms used in genomics research, clinical diagnostics, and population-scale sequencing programs. Founded in 1998 and headquartered in San Diego, Illumina was an S&P 500 constituent from 2015 until June 2024 and returns to the index on September 21, 2026, replacing The Trade Desk in the quarterly rebalance.
About the Illumina logo
The Illumina (ILMN) logo is part of the Tickericons pack — a hand-crafted set of logos for every company in the S&P 500. Each logo is manually redrawn to a consistent grid, weight, and corner radius so ILMN sits cleanly next to other tickers in cap tables, dashboards, equity research, and fintech UI.
You get two styles: the trademark (just the symbol, ideal for grids and tight UI) and the full logo (mark plus wordmark, ideal when there's room to breathe). Both ship as scalable SVG, high-resolution PNG, and reusable Figma components.
Illumina has been announced as an addition to the S&P 500, effective prior to the open on Sep 21, 2026, and is classified under the Health Care sector.
