About Altria
Altria Group is one of the largest tobacco companies in the U.S., the maker of Marlboro through its Philip Morris USA subsidiary (covering the U.S. domestic market only — Philip Morris International handles international markets). Headquartered in Richmond, Virginia and tracing its origins to 1822, the company also owns U.S. Smokeless Tobacco (Copenhagen, Skoal), John Middleton (Black & Mild cigars), NJOY (e-vapor, acquired in 2023), and Helix Innovations (on! oral nicotine pouches). Altria divested its remaining Anheuser-Busch InBev stake in 2024.
About the Altria logo
The Altria (MO) logo is part of the Tickericons pack — a hand-crafted set of logos for every company in the S&P 500. Each logo is manually redrawn to a consistent grid, weight, and corner radius so MO sits cleanly next to other tickers in cap tables, dashboards, equity research, and fintech UI.
You get two styles: the trademark (just the symbol, ideal for grids and tight UI) and the full logo (mark plus wordmark, ideal when there's room to breathe). Both ship as scalable SVG, high-resolution PNG, and reusable Figma components.
Altria was added to the S&P 500 on Mar 4, 1957 and is currently classified under the Consumer Staples sector.
