About Apollo Global Management
Apollo Global Management is one of the largest alternative asset managers in the world, with roughly $700 billion in assets under management across private equity, credit, real assets, and insurance (Athene). Founded in 1990 by Leon Black, Marc Rowan, and Josh Harris and headquartered in New York City, the firm is known for its credit and distressed-investing expertise. Apollo's acquisition of Athene (a fixed annuity issuer) anchors its insurance-funded private credit platform — one of the largest in the industry. Marc Rowan has been CEO since 2021.
About the Apollo Global Management logo
The Apollo Global Management (APO) logo is part of the Tickericons pack — a hand-crafted set of logos for every company in the S&P 500. Each logo is manually redrawn to a consistent grid, weight, and corner radius so APO sits cleanly next to other tickers in cap tables, dashboards, equity research, and fintech UI.
You get two styles: the trademark (just the symbol, ideal for grids and tight UI) and the full logo (mark plus wordmark, ideal when there's room to breathe). Both ship as scalable SVG, high-resolution PNG, and reusable Figma components.
Apollo Global Management was added to the S&P 500 on Dec 23, 2024 and is currently classified under the Financials sector.
