About Equifax
Equifax is one of the three major U.S. consumer credit bureaus alongside Experian and TransUnion, maintaining credit reports on roughly 220 million consumers. The company also operates Workforce Solutions — a unique data asset that combines employment, payroll, and income verification data through The Work Number — used by lenders, employers, and government agencies to verify income for mortgage, auto, and credit card underwriting. Headquartered in Atlanta, Equifax suffered a major 2017 data breach affecting roughly 147 million consumers.
About the Equifax logo
The Equifax (EFX) logo is part of the Tickericons pack — a hand-crafted set of logos for every company in the S&P 500. Each logo is manually redrawn to a consistent grid, weight, and corner radius so EFX sits cleanly next to other tickers in cap tables, dashboards, equity research, and fintech UI.
You get two styles: the trademark (just the symbol, ideal for grids and tight UI) and the full logo (mark plus wordmark, ideal when there's room to breathe). Both ship as scalable SVG, high-resolution PNG, and reusable Figma components.
Equifax was added to the S&P 500 on Jun 19, 1997 and is currently classified under the Industrials sector.
