About Fastenal
Fastenal is one of the largest U.S. industrial distributors, supplying fasteners, safety, tools, cutting, electrical, plumbing, janitorial, and other maintenance and operations (MRO) products to industrial and construction customers. Headquartered in Winona, Minnesota and founded in 1967 by Bob Kierlin, the company differentiates through its dense network of branch locations and on-site Fastenal-managed inventory at customer plants (the FMI Technology vending machines). Fastenal operates a large on-site sales model and is the largest player in industrial vending in the U.S.
About the Fastenal logo
The Fastenal (FAST) logo is part of the Tickericons pack — a hand-crafted set of logos for every company in the S&P 500. Each logo is manually redrawn to a consistent grid, weight, and corner radius so FAST sits cleanly next to other tickers in cap tables, dashboards, equity research, and fintech UI.
You get two styles: the trademark (just the symbol, ideal for grids and tight UI) and the full logo (mark plus wordmark, ideal when there's room to breathe). Both ship as scalable SVG, high-resolution PNG, and reusable Figma components.
Fastenal was added to the S&P 500 on Sep 15, 2008 and is currently classified under the Industrials sector.
