About Moderna
Moderna is a biotechnology company built around mRNA medicine, best known for Spikevax — its COVID-19 vaccine that was one of the first two mRNA vaccines authorized for human use (alongside Pfizer-BioNTech's Comirnaty). Founded in 2010 and headquartered in Cambridge, Massachusetts, the company is developing mRNA vaccines for RSV (mRESVIA), CMV, influenza, and combination flu+COVID, plus a personalized cancer vaccine in partnership with Merck. Moderna's mRNA platform also targets rare disease and autoimmune conditions. The company is in the middle of a multi-year cost-reduction program after the post-COVID revenue cliff.
About the Moderna logo
The Moderna (MRNA) logo is part of the Tickericons pack — a hand-crafted set of logos for every company in the S&P 500. Each logo is manually redrawn to a consistent grid, weight, and corner radius so MRNA sits cleanly next to other tickers in cap tables, dashboards, equity research, and fintech UI.
You get two styles: the trademark (just the symbol, ideal for grids and tight UI) and the full logo (mark plus wordmark, ideal when there's room to breathe). Both ship as scalable SVG, high-resolution PNG, and reusable Figma components.
Moderna was added to the S&P 500 on Jul 21, 2021 and is currently classified under the Health Care sector.
