PepsiCo is one of the world's largest food and beverage companies, with a portfolio that spans Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Gatorade, Tropicana, Aquafina, Bubly, Starry, Rockstar, and SodaStream on the beverage side. Its snacks unit, Frito-Lay, includes Lay's, Doritos, Cheetos, Ruffles, Tostitos, Sun Chips, and Stacy's — and the company also owns the Quaker Oats brand. Headquartered in Purchase, New York, PepsiCo was formed by the 1965 merger of Pepsi-Cola and Frito-Lay. Unlike Coca-Cola, the majority of its profits come from snacks rather than beverages, giving it a more diversified mix.
