About Resmed
ResMed is the leading global maker of medical devices and cloud-based software for sleep apnea, COPD, and other respiratory conditions. Headquartered in San Diego, California and founded in 1989, the company makes CPAP and bi-level positive airway pressure machines, masks, ventilators, and the AirView and myAir software platforms used by physicians and patients to manage sleep therapy. ResMed has been a primary beneficiary of competitor Philips Respironics' major device recall that began in 2021, which substantially shifted market share in CPAP devices.
About the Resmed logo
The Resmed (RMD) logo is part of the Tickericons pack — a hand-crafted set of logos for every company in the S&P 500. Each logo is manually redrawn to a consistent grid, weight, and corner radius so RMD sits cleanly next to other tickers in cap tables, dashboards, equity research, and fintech UI.
You get two styles: the trademark (just the symbol, ideal for grids and tight UI) and the full logo (mark plus wordmark, ideal when there's room to breathe). Both ship as scalable SVG, high-resolution PNG, and reusable Figma components.
Resmed was added to the S&P 500 on Jul 26, 2017 and is currently classified under the Health Care sector.
