About Diamondback Energy
Diamondback Energy is one of the largest U.S. independent oil and gas producers focused exclusively on the Permian Basin (Midland and Delaware basins) of West Texas and southeastern New Mexico. Headquartered in Midland, Texas, the company has built a sizable concentrated position in the Permian and is one of the lowest-cost shale producers in North America. The 2024 acquisition of Endeavor Energy Resources made Diamondback one of the largest Permian-pure-play public producers. Diamondback also owns a majority stake in Viper Energy, a minerals royalties partnership.
About the Diamondback Energy logo
The Diamondback Energy (FANG) logo is part of the Tickericons pack — a hand-crafted set of logos for every company in the S&P 500. Each logo is manually redrawn to a consistent grid, weight, and corner radius so FANG sits cleanly next to other tickers in cap tables, dashboards, equity research, and fintech UI.
You get two styles: the trademark (just the symbol, ideal for grids and tight UI) and the full logo (mark plus wordmark, ideal when there's room to breathe). Both ship as scalable SVG, high-resolution PNG, and reusable Figma components.
Diamondback Energy was added to the S&P 500 on Dec 3, 2018 and is currently classified under the Energy sector.
