Global Payments is one of the largest U.S. merchant acquirers and payments technology providers, processing card transactions for millions of merchants across the U.S. and internationally. Headquartered in Atlanta, the company also operates an Issuer Solutions segment that provides credit and debit card processing for banks and other card issuers. Global Payments has been navigating a competitive merchant acquiring market alongside larger peers FIS Worldpay (now Worldpay Group) and Fiserv (Clover).
