About Goldman Sachs Group
Goldman Sachs is one of the world's preeminent investment banks, with leading global franchises in investment banking advisory and underwriting, equities and fixed-income trading (Global Markets), asset and wealth management, and platform solutions. Founded in 1869 by Marcus Goldman and headquartered in New York City, the firm went public in 1999 after more than a century as a private partnership. Goldman has been refocusing on its core institutional businesses after winding down most of its consumer-banking ambitions (Marcus by Goldman Sachs, the Apple Card partnership). Its alumni network has produced more central bank governors, Treasury secretaries, and CEOs than perhaps any other firm in finance.
About the Goldman Sachs Group logo
The Goldman Sachs Group (GS) logo is part of the Tickericons pack — a hand-crafted set of logos for every company in the S&P 500. Each logo is manually redrawn to a consistent grid, weight, and corner radius so GS sits cleanly next to other tickers in cap tables, dashboards, equity research, and fintech UI.
You get two styles: the trademark (just the symbol, ideal for grids and tight UI) and the full logo (mark plus wordmark, ideal when there's room to breathe). Both ship as scalable SVG, high-resolution PNG, and reusable Figma components.
Goldman Sachs Group was added to the S&P 500 on Jul 22, 2002 and is currently classified under the Financials sector.
