About Hess Corporation
Hess Corporation is an independent oil and gas exploration and production company with major positions in the Bakken Shale in North Dakota, offshore Guyana (the prolific Stabroek block in partnership with ExxonMobil and CNOOC), and the Gulf of Mexico. Headquartered in New York City and founded by Leon Hess, the company agreed to be acquired by Chevron in 2023 — though the transaction has been delayed by arbitration over ExxonMobil's right of first refusal on the Guyana stake.
About the Hess Corporation logo
The Hess Corporation (HES) logo is part of the Tickericons pack — a hand-crafted set of logos for every company in the S&P 500. Each logo is manually redrawn to a consistent grid, weight, and corner radius so HES sits cleanly next to other tickers in cap tables, dashboards, equity research, and fintech UI.
You get two styles: the trademark (just the symbol, ideal for grids and tight UI) and the full logo (mark plus wordmark, ideal when there's room to breathe). Both ship as scalable SVG, high-resolution PNG, and reusable Figma components.
Hess Corporation was added to the S&P 500 on May 31, 1984 and is currently classified under the Energy sector.
