About Morgan Stanley
Morgan Stanley is one of the largest global investment banks and wealth managers, with leadership positions in equity trading, M&A advisory, and high-net-worth wealth management. Founded in 1935 as a spinout from J.P. Morgan following the Glass-Steagall Act, the company is headquartered in New York City. Under former CEO James Gorman, Morgan Stanley dramatically expanded its wealth and asset management businesses through major acquisitions including Smith Barney, E*TRADE, and Eaton Vance, shifting the firm toward more stable fee revenue. Wealth Management is now the largest single business and one of the largest wealth platforms in the U.S.
About the Morgan Stanley logo
The Morgan Stanley (MS) logo is part of the Tickericons pack — a hand-crafted set of logos for every company in the S&P 500. Each logo is manually redrawn to a consistent grid, weight, and corner radius so MS sits cleanly next to other tickers in cap tables, dashboards, equity research, and fintech UI.
You get two styles: the trademark (just the symbol, ideal for grids and tight UI) and the full logo (mark plus wordmark, ideal when there's room to breathe). Both ship as scalable SVG, high-resolution PNG, and reusable Figma components.
Morgan Stanley was added to the S&P 500 on Jul 29, 1993 and is currently classified under the Financials sector.
