About Steel Dynamics
Steel Dynamics, Inc. (SDI) is one of the largest U.S. steel producers and one of the lowest-cost producers in North America, operating electric arc furnace (EAF) mini-mills, scrap recycling (OmniSource — one of the largest U.S. scrap metal processors), and steel fabrication businesses. Headquartered in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the company has been a leader in low-carbon steelmaking through its EAF-and-scrap process. The 2024 startup of Sinton, Texas EAF flat-rolled mill expanded SDI's Southwest presence.
About the Steel Dynamics logo
The Steel Dynamics (STLD) logo is part of the Tickericons pack — a hand-crafted set of logos for every company in the S&P 500. Each logo is manually redrawn to a consistent grid, weight, and corner radius so STLD sits cleanly next to other tickers in cap tables, dashboards, equity research, and fintech UI.
You get two styles: the trademark (just the symbol, ideal for grids and tight UI) and the full logo (mark plus wordmark, ideal when there's room to breathe). Both ship as scalable SVG, high-resolution PNG, and reusable Figma components.
Steel Dynamics was added to the S&P 500 on Dec 22, 2022 and is currently classified under the Materials sector.
