About Synchrony Financial
Synchrony Financial is one of the largest U.S. issuers of private label and co-branded credit cards, partnering with retailers, regional banks, dealers, and businesses across home, auto, health, retail, and digital. Major partners include Lowe's, Amazon Store Card, JCPenney, T.J. Maxx, Sam's Club Mastercard, PayPal, Discount Tire, and CareCredit (health and pet care). Headquartered in Stamford, Connecticut, the company was spun off from GE in 2014 as the successor to GE Capital's Retail Finance business.
About the Synchrony Financial logo
The Synchrony Financial (SYF) logo is part of the Tickericons pack — a hand-crafted set of logos for every company in the S&P 500. Each logo is manually redrawn to a consistent grid, weight, and corner radius so SYF sits cleanly next to other tickers in cap tables, dashboards, equity research, and fintech UI.
You get two styles: the trademark (just the symbol, ideal for grids and tight UI) and the full logo (mark plus wordmark, ideal when there's room to breathe). Both ship as scalable SVG, high-resolution PNG, and reusable Figma components.
Synchrony Financial was added to the S&P 500 on Nov 18, 2015 and is currently classified under the Financials sector.
