About Lam Research Corporation
Lam Research is one of the largest semiconductor equipment makers in the world, focused on deposition (films like ALD and CVD) and etch systems used to fabricate advanced logic and memory chips. Founded in 1980 in Fremont, California and headquartered there today, the company holds a dominant share of the etch and deposition markets and is particularly important for high-aspect-ratio 3D NAND and advanced DRAM. Its tools are used by every major foundry, IDM, and memory maker. Lam, along with Applied Materials and KLA, forms a trio of U.S.-based equipment vendors that are essential to the global chip supply chain.
About the Lam Research Corporation logo
The Lam Research Corporation (LRCX) logo is part of the Tickericons pack — a hand-crafted set of logos for every company in the S&P 500. Each logo is manually redrawn to a consistent grid, weight, and corner radius so LRCX sits cleanly next to other tickers in cap tables, dashboards, equity research, and fintech UI.
You get two styles: the trademark (just the symbol, ideal for grids and tight UI) and the full logo (mark plus wordmark, ideal when there's room to breathe). Both ship as scalable SVG, high-resolution PNG, and reusable Figma components.
Lam Research Corporation was added to the S&P 500 on Jun 29, 2012 and is currently classified under the Information Technology sector.
