About Micron Technology
Micron Technology is the largest U.S.-based memory and storage chipmaker, producing DRAM, NAND, and emerging high-bandwidth memory (HBM) used in PCs, smartphones, servers, automotive, and AI accelerators. Headquartered in Boise, Idaho and founded in 1978, Micron is one of only three major DRAM suppliers worldwide alongside Samsung and SK hynix. The company's HBM products are a key supplier to Nvidia for its AI data-center GPUs and have become a major growth driver. Micron is also investing tens of billions of dollars into new U.S. fabs in New York and Idaho with support from the CHIPS Act.
About the Micron Technology logo
The Micron Technology (MU) logo is part of the Tickericons pack — a hand-crafted set of logos for every company in the S&P 500. Each logo is manually redrawn to a consistent grid, weight, and corner radius so MU sits cleanly next to other tickers in cap tables, dashboards, equity research, and fintech UI.
You get two styles: the trademark (just the symbol, ideal for grids and tight UI) and the full logo (mark plus wordmark, ideal when there's room to breathe). Both ship as scalable SVG, high-resolution PNG, and reusable Figma components.
Micron Technology was added to the S&P 500 on Sep 27, 1994 and is currently classified under the Information Technology sector.
