About Airbnb
Airbnb runs the world's largest marketplace for short-term and vacation rentals, with millions of host-listed homes, apartments, and unique stays across roughly 220 countries and regions. Founded in 2007 by Brian Chesky, Joe Gebbia, and Nathan Blecharczyk in San Francisco, the company popularized the modern short-term-rental industry and disrupted the traditional hotel market. Airbnb went public in 2020 and operates through a take-rate model, collecting fees from both hosts and guests on each booking. The company is increasingly focused on co-hosts, services, longer-term stays, and the broader "Icons" experiences program.
About the Airbnb logo
The Airbnb (ABNB) logo is part of the Tickericons pack — a hand-crafted set of logos for every company in the S&P 500. Each logo is manually redrawn to a consistent grid, weight, and corner radius so ABNB sits cleanly next to other tickers in cap tables, dashboards, equity research, and fintech UI.
You get two styles: the trademark (just the symbol, ideal for grids and tight UI) and the full logo (mark plus wordmark, ideal when there's room to breathe). Both ship as scalable SVG, high-resolution PNG, and reusable Figma components.
Airbnb was added to the S&P 500 on Sep 18, 2023 and is currently classified under the Consumer Discretionary sector.
