About D.R. Horton
D.R. Horton is the largest U.S. homebuilder by volume, with operations across single-family detached homes, attached townhomes, and entry-level housing under the Express Homes brand. Founded in 1978 by Donald R. Horton and headquartered in Arlington, Texas, the company is known for an aggressive land-light strategy that uses option contracts to control lots rather than holding large land inventories. D.R. Horton also has Forestar Group (its publicly traded land developer), DHI Mortgage, and DHI Communities (build-to-rent). The company has been a leading consolidator in the U.S. homebuilding industry.
About the D.R. Horton logo
The D.R. Horton (DHI) logo is part of the Tickericons pack — a hand-crafted set of logos for every company in the S&P 500. Each logo is manually redrawn to a consistent grid, weight, and corner radius so DHI sits cleanly next to other tickers in cap tables, dashboards, equity research, and fintech UI.
You get two styles: the trademark (just the symbol, ideal for grids and tight UI) and the full logo (mark plus wordmark, ideal when there's room to breathe). Both ship as scalable SVG, high-resolution PNG, and reusable Figma components.
D.R. Horton was added to the S&P 500 on Jun 22, 2005 and is currently classified under the Consumer Discretionary sector.
