Aptiv plc is one of the largest global automotive technology suppliers, focused on the brain and nervous system of vehicles — advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), autonomous driving software, infotainment, vehicle networking architecture, and electrical distribution systems. Headquartered in Dublin, Ireland (with operational headquarters in Troy, Michigan), the company was spun off from the powertrain business that became Delphi Technologies. Motional, Aptiv's autonomous driving joint venture with Hyundai, has been a major focus area for robotaxi development.
