About General Motors
General Motors is one of the largest U.S. automakers, with brands including Chevrolet, GMC, Cadillac, and Buick, and a leading position in U.S. full-size trucks and SUVs through the Silverado, Sierra, Tahoe, Suburban, and Escalade. Founded in 1908 and headquartered in Detroit, Michigan, GM is in the middle of a multi-year transition toward an all-electric lineup built on its Ultium battery and BEV3 platforms (Hummer EV, Cadillac Lyriq, Chevy Equinox EV, Silverado EV). The company also owns Cruise (autonomous driving), OnStar (connected services), and GM Financial. GM's joint ventures in China are among the largest auto partnerships in that market.
About the General Motors logo
The General Motors (GM) logo is part of the Tickericons pack — a hand-crafted set of logos for every company in the S&P 500. Each logo is manually redrawn to a consistent grid, weight, and corner radius so GM sits cleanly next to other tickers in cap tables, dashboards, equity research, and fintech UI.
You get two styles: the trademark (just the symbol, ideal for grids and tight UI) and the full logo (mark plus wordmark, ideal when there's room to breathe). Both ship as scalable SVG, high-resolution PNG, and reusable Figma components.
General Motors was added to the S&P 500 on Jun 6, 2013 and is currently classified under the Consumer Discretionary sector.
