About Nike
Nike is the world's largest athletic footwear and apparel brand, anchored by the Nike Swoosh, Jordan, and Converse marques. Founded in 1964 as Blue Ribbon Sports by Phil Knight and Bill Bowerman, the company is headquartered in Beaverton, Oregon and is one of the most valuable consumer brands in the world. It sells through wholesale partners and its own direct channels — Nike.com and the Nike, SNKRS, and Run Club apps — and is the primary sponsor of many of the biggest athletes and teams in global sport. Nike has been navigating a multi-year reset of its direct-to-consumer strategy under CEO Elliott Hill since late 2024.
About the Nike logo
The Nike (NKE) logo is part of the Tickericons pack — a hand-crafted set of logos for every company in the S&P 500. Each logo is manually redrawn to a consistent grid, weight, and corner radius so NKE sits cleanly next to other tickers in cap tables, dashboards, equity research, and fintech UI.
You get two styles: the trademark (just the symbol, ideal for grids and tight UI) and the full logo (mark plus wordmark, ideal when there's room to breathe). Both ship as scalable SVG, high-resolution PNG, and reusable Figma components.
Nike was added to the S&P 500 on Nov 30, 1988 and is currently classified under the Consumer Discretionary sector.
